Q. I was sentenced to 10 days in jail for violating my probation for driving while having a suspended license. I missed my turn in date by two days and turned myself in how many days will I actually have to do in jail after being booked?

A. Likely, you will have to serve the 10 day sentence and you have exposed yourself to a violation of probation by not turning yourself in on time. You violated your probation, you could be "violated" and do whatever time you haven't done up to the maximum for the given offense.
