Q. Do I still hire a lawyer to handle my dui if I didn’t call within the 10 days for the dmv hearing?

I didn’t call to request a hearing within the 10 days as it said on my temporary pink paper and it’s been after 30 days like it said on it if strictly no driving and I went to the DMV and it still says they have no record of me and it’s been 3 months since the initial arrest and my court date isn’t until January. Is a lawyer still able to help me with my situation.
